Established from Birmingham College of Art with roots to 1843, made a polytechnic in 1971 and gaining university status in 1992. Known for practice-led, career-focused teaching with strong programs in creative arts, business, and health, and three main campuses offering courses across art and design, business, computing, engineering, health care, law, and performing arts.
